While I won't leave because I adore Anna Cooper like no other medical professional I have ever seen, the office staff (especially when calling about important, personal information) is very cold and unwelcoming. If not for that, I would give 10 stars to Anna alone.
My Dr is C Lott. After Dr. Pearson retired, I chose Lott. Every one at the clinic was AMAZING except Dr. Lott. He was definitely mediocre!! He didn't seem to care about my concerns, didn't spend time talking to me, seemed annoyed when I questioned him, and seemed rushed through the pap. I have had many in my past, but this was , by far, the fastest! Maybe Dr. Pearson spoiled me and Dr. Lott is really good. Idk...hormones may be off and I misread everything. Who knows
Dr. Brown was the doctor for my first child. While I liked him personally, I feel he did not take my health concerns seriously with swelling, always telling me "You're fine". I was refused an ultrasound even when I offered to pay out of pocket for it, and had I gotten one we might have seen where the amniotic chord was wrapped around my child's arm, causing him to get stuck when I went into labor. I lost a lot of blood and my blood pressure skyrocketed, but I was still forced to push for 3 hours without them knowing the child was stuck. I was later told by him that "I might have had a little case of preclampsia". I don't know about you, but for me that is no small deal. It could have cost me and my child both our life. I have since switched to Dr Whittle in West Point and he is fabulous.
My first visit at this clinic was very nice. Everyone here is very professional kind and you are treated with respect. The doctor answers all your concerns and takes time to explain everything to you without rushing you out. This is how a Women's clinic should be caring and take time for all your needs.
