I only left one star because I had to so that I could comment... Do not join this club... The staff is rude and judgmental... Plus if u want to cancel they will find every excuse to not let u cancel... I still have not been able to cancel my membership for the past two months
Proud supporter of all the hard work and creativity that has been put into the renovation of Starkville Athletic Club over the last few years.
Facilities are pretty nice relative to what's available in Starkville. Really cool that there's a women's only room but how fitting that it's full of older equipment since women are second class citizens/athletes. The cancellation process is unacceptable. I emailed several times via contact information listed on the website that I needed to cancel, could they please let me know how to do that. I also called but the front desk is inconsistently staffed and one time I got someone that said, "I'm not sure, let me have the manager call you back." No call. Next time I was in town they said I had to submit it 30 days in advance in writing so, that meant an extra month of charges that I wouldn't use on top of the month that had passed since I initiated the cancellation. And the owner so casually says, "yeah sorry, we never check that email." THEN TAKE IT DOWN FROM YOUR WEBSITE?????
