I hate giving bad reviews but this place needs help. I understand everyone has a bad day but tried finding what i needed n couldn't i made the mistake of pressing the help button at Lowe's n when she finally showed up all i got was a "What" from the employee. Then when i went to check out i didn't notice the bar code was messed up n the cashier just set it to the side and said "it wont scan".
Not sure they even deserve one star - but I am trying to be nice. We went to Lowe"s in Starkville on Tuesday. No one in the construction area to help folks out. We could see workers around just standing - but not willing to help. My husband loaded a buggy for another lady and there was still no one around to help him load. My husband finally got three sheets of 3/4 inch treated plywood on his buggy. We checked out and had to wait fifteen minutes for someone to help us load. Then there were three people in front of us waiting for help. As senior citizens, we really needed help. One fellow came out to help but in the loading process they dropped a piece of plywood on my husband's foot. Another shopper ended up helping us finish loading. We ended up spending several hours in the ER with a broken big toe and several stitches. Guess we won't be shopping here anymore. Makes Home Depot look pretty good. They are always happy to wait on us. If you need help, don't go to Lowe's in Starkville, MS.
Very good informative employee who went 2 another department 2 help me find what I was looking for but neither product was available. He did suggest some things I could possibly do 2 locate the products I was looking for.
I shopped there quite often in the past two months as I was moving to a new condo. Staff were overall friendly and would suit your needs if they could (that's why I'd give two stars rather than one). They would never contact me for a project inquiry I submitted on their website though (if you do not provide this service, then please take it off your website so that customers could look elsewhere). I'd also avoid using their interior design service, as the level of professionalism failed to match the reputation of a renowned, chained business as Lowe's. It was bad enough for you to look at my house in the way that a teacher gets disappointed with a student's work (that's why it needed remodeling!), but without any valuable feedback/info.; had another meeting about one week later, and you've forgotten all XYZs we've agreed on (even got my budget amount wrong), so I had to go over these with you. Many unpleasant things came up in those brief meetings...ugh, felt like a third-grader waiting to be corrected all the time rather than a "valued customer." Canceled that project because something happened in my family, but now in retrospection, I'm so glad I did.
I called 4 times inquiring about a washing machine. I never made it through any recording. The first transferred me to the deliveries line and was put on hold for 6 or 7 minutes - the same happened the 2, 3rd and 4th time I called back - I never got a REAL person on the phone! Finally after spending almost 30 minutes holding on for various people to answer I just gave up!!!!!!! That's a 500.00 sale they missed!!!
