It a nice place to go and train your dog
Nice open area for a dog to run around. There are two areas. One is an open field, used to be for baseball or softball, and it has several training toys such as ramps. The other area is smaller and has trees and shade etc. Good if two dogs aren't getting along in the same park. Generally there is at least one other person but often there are many. Fairly active dog owner community in the area.
Love to take my dog here! Kept up and very nice.
We stopped by with our 4 month old Husky on a recent trip to Starkville. He met some great dogs to play with and we met some awesome owners as well. It has an area for owners to sit in the shade and some picnic tables for relaxing while the dogs play. There is also a dog water fountain in a separate fenced in area, but I didn't notice a hose to wash off dirt and mud. Despite that, it's a great little dog park.
Its a nice place. There are two separate fenced in areas 1 for larger dogs and 1 for smaller. There is a drinking fountain for your dog and also poop bags provided. There are some agility obstacles but they are mostly broken.
