My mail was delivered to my home for years with no problem. Six - eight weeks ago, a new person began delivering to our home. Four packages and several pieces of mail (including bills) have gone missing, and we rarely receive mail other than coupons. I have called repeatedly and my spouse had to go in person to talk to them. I receive mail the day after we complain, then it disappears until we call again.
They are very rude especially post master and staffs in a front desk. They make easy things more harder and are not interested in solving problems of customers. In this post office, a lot of packages are missing and cannot find the packages forever because staffs do not want to try anythings. Even, they cannot find the deliverer on a specific day although it is the basic thing of post office's task. Only thing they can do is just say "come back to home and wait few days then I'll call back". But I have never get the call from him.
The ladies and the gentleman does an excellent job and I thank them for always going out of their way for me. They always treat with me respect and a smile. Thank you, thank you, thank you
My suggestion is to use the P.O. at MSU whenever you can. We had a P.O. box there for years, and only stopped using them bc I was not working on campus. I'm going to open another box with them tomorrow.
Staff is terribly rude. They do the bare minimum required of them, seeming to not even understand the basics of their job. I received government paperwork 3 weeks after I was expecting it, and the delivery driver dated the delivery two days before she delivered it, I can only assume to cover up her own mistake.
Minutes ago, unhappy that I had not heard back about a missing package from earlier in the week and discovering that another was supposedly delivered the same day, I called at my breaking point with this situation. I was firm about the fact that we really need someone to look into this situation as it has been going on for too long to not be corrected. I was told, "not to be calling up there with an attitude." There was no help offered, no empathy, no understanding available from the person on the phone. (Yes, I got my attitude out after that.)
Needless to say you can't make people do the right thing. I will be reporting this location to the USPS today as they have refused to help.
I was treated very poorly when trying to mail a package at this location. The box I was mailing was white and had previously been used. I had used a permanent black ink marker to blackout any info visible on the box. I had mailed packages like this many times previously. However, this young lady decided that this box had to be an alcohol box and dud not want to mail it. She couldn't show me anywhere on the box where it said anything about alchol. She finally took the box and I paid to mail it. As I was leaving a gentleman yelled across the post office to the young lady saying" (her name) are you having fun???" She replied with a very chipper and defiant tone,"YES". At that moment I felt as if this is something that she frequently does to the white customers. Now I am debating what to do to stop this from happening to other people.
Read all these reviews and then multiply them by a big helping of just not giving a rip, and you may come within a hundred yards of what you will experience at this location. This post office should be investigated.
front desk staffs and postmaster should be changed for a better future of the United States Postoffice.
