TERRIBLE customer service. I was ignored in the store while I was obviously searching for something. When I finally found what I was looking for and went to check out, I stood there for several minutes while employees were talking and waited for them to finish their conversation so I could check out. Once I got home, I checked my receipt to read the print and found that they had given my credit information to a magazine company to continually send me magazines and charge me. I called to try to have this fixed with no help from the magazine company or the rude manager of Goody's (after having my call picked up and simply left the phone without answering twice). I will not ever be going back.
When I make purchases, the cashiers do not engage customers, ask them if they found everything alright, etc. After one such interaction that bordered on rude, I asked to speak with a manager. The employee said she was the manager on shift, and I asked to speak with her manager. They were not in so I left my name and number and was assured I would be receiving a call from that manager. 2 months later, I'm still waiting.
I could find everything I was looking for. The manager was total sweetheart. She was super helpful.
Note to the owners: your customer service (or lack thereof) is the reason that online retailers are driving you out of business.
Awful customer service. I'll go in every once in a while to shop and I have been greeted twice in the dozen times I've gone in.
