Would give zero stars if possible. Matty's falsely advertises and is poorly managed. I will not return. The 5 star reviews are clearly from the family and friends.
During our hour and a half wait for 4 personal pizzas and 3 sandwiches, our server mixed up our glasses while getting refill, mixing water, tea, in mystery proportions, not even giving us back our original glasses. Over the last half hour of the wait, food came out person by person, one of the orders being completely wrong. People were charged for drinks despite having what started out as water. Advertised as a quick stop for lunch, I ended up leaving after an hour and 45 minutes with my lunch in boxes (they don't have pizza boxes and the pizza didn't fit in one of the smaller boxes I was given). Overall, the experience was so bad that I wouldn't give it a second chance if I had a choice.
The pizza was incredible. Seemed like very fresh ingredients. I had the luau. Only complaint (say that loosely) was the wait. We did wait a good bit but I was enjoying my company and it did not bother either of us but I know how people these days, don't want to visit/wait...Always want to grab and go, even in sit down restaurants. I would definitely suggest giving this place a try, especially for the pizza. If this town gives it a chance, I think it will find it's flow.
And the "system" said it was now Friday.
After paying $10 cover, the bartender said they were out of the free beer for which it was first come first serve.
Advertised as "all you can drink draft and wells".
Went to Matty's for my birthday with a few friends.
When I went for my 3rd drink, they said it would be $3 because the "all you can drink" wells are for Thursday nights only.
It was definetly one of the worst experiences at a restaurant/bar I've ever had.
