They do have items that are hard to find. I have had to buy from them a few times when they are the only ones in town with certain items.
The bow range is very nice when it is open for the public.
I love this store. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about many items, and they will help you find anything that you are looking for. The shoe section has so many choices to choose from and they always have my size. And the guys in the bow shop and gun counter are extremely helpful!! Best sporting goods store and much better customer service than Academy across town. If you're visiting Starkville, this place is a MUST to stop at!!
Went in to buy what my gf had picked out and left at the register she had picked out two nice shirts but was I told that I had to pay by cash for the shirts. Clerk informed me that they didn't make any money on those shirts as they just have them out for someone else that makes them. Needless to say I didn't have the cash and it was right at closing time.
I'm not crazy about this place. They have sales on clothes sometimes which is good. Most everything is over priced. Staff seems always willing to help. Gun counter staff are horrible, condescending and unhelpful. They have a lot of higher end stuff and prices are sort of high.
Really over priced. Much rather go to academy
No bad experiences. The girls at the checkout are always friendly and nice. The archery guy knows what he's doing and is able to give me great answers when I ask him questions. I really wish the support for recurve bows was there because I would have bought from them instead of online. I guess that's just how supply and demand works. I'll definitely keep coming back and keep recommending to others
