We went to sonic this morning to get breakfast. Upon arriving we were told to wait 5 minutes. So we did. After about 7 minutes We were told to wait again for another 5 minutes. We waited almost 10 and told the lady we had already been asked to wait. All the while the drive through people were going through and getting their food like it was nothing.
We didn't even get to order.
Great fast service. The young folks working there are courteous, and seem to really try to please the customer. Really impressed with a young server, I think the name was Kaden. We had a number of complicated orders, and she got every one spot-on. Felt awful we couldn't tip, using our credit card, and we didn't have cash with us. Going back soon, to tip.
After we buzzed back in after that 10 minutes we were told to wait another 2 minutes.
Ordering was actually a pleasant experience, and my car hop was especially nice. My order was correct, and I even got extra napkins! It helped that it was at the very top of happy hour, not busy yet. If they're slammed, they're stressed. And if they're stressed, they're not so great with customer service. (I think turnover has a lot to do with that, tho.) All in all, today's was a satisfactory visit.
We left and won't be returning.
Could be good. Burgers look like veggies, dressings, and meat were thrown in them from a distance. Definitely no pride in their food appearance. Fries are usually cold...but the slushes will still give you brain freeze!
The people were rude and told us "we were just gonna have to wait"
Food is great..... BUT.....I always order the SAME EXACT THING, BUT end up with a completely different food item every time. I normally order an Ulitmate Steak and Cheese Breakfast Burrioto, but end up with a chicken and bacon burrito. The ingredients are NEVER consistent even when I order the same item. They may read your order back to you, but it will not be right when you get it.
