Communication is lacking. I emailed the manager ask if it was possible to retrieve some mail for me and she asked me me if my brother and sister and law were my parents when I responded no, all communication stopped. I finally called and reached someone after leaving voicemails and she responded that she didn't know what to tell me that she couldn't retrieve my mail which is completely fine but she could have communicated that back to me via email instead of ignoring them.
My family has lived here going on three years. Rent is perfect for what your getting, area is getting better, landlady is amazing. She is always so quick to fix my concerns. Your walking distance to the park. Cons are that you don't have much green to walk in but it's not that bad. We really love our place here, we aren't looking forward to moving but we need more space. 4 stars because the insides are pretty old, but she is constantly upgrading apartments as you need it.
Its an alright place to live but it needs to be updated for the cost of living there.
Parking sucks because its so cramped together and some people park in spots that are not for parking.
The tonwhouses are veryclean but the bathroom and kitchen appliances are very old. Everything works its just kinda lame, it should be updated. A/C and Heat work well no issues with plumbing - the landlady is very nice and will help you with anything. The neighbors are a bit nosy however on the end every weekend its pretty loud. The upstairs bedrooms are too small - cant fit a queen bed in there.
Parking situation is a mess, land lady Sue is a tightwad who will lie to your face. Good luck getting your deposit back. I definitely would not reccomend this to anybody. Halfway through my lease, she suddenly developed a problem with my dogs who I had approved before hand and "kicked me out". I use this term vaguely because she never gave me a move out date until a week before she wanted me gone. After I moved out she was extremely rude and made up several nonsensical bills to avoid giving me back my deposit. "Had to paint the walls to cover up the smell of dog". Had numerous visitors and handymen over when I lived there and never had a problem and suddenly when I moved it took all of the money because I trashed the apartment? She has a phobia of big dogs so she will kick you out at anytime if she thinks your dog is "too big" regardless of weight and breed standards. Would not recommend. Neighbors also routinely broke into cars including mine and people visiting. My next door neighbor's front and back windows got busted out for no reason, waking everyone. Apartment Sue owns behind us burned down one night due to shoddy electrical wiring. Expect flashing lights and sirens at least once a week. The Chevron ~1000 feet from my backdoor was robbed and had the clerk shot in the head. Quality of service from handymen is also suspect. I had a leak in my ceiling the first week I moved in. After I called her she told me to drain the water out and that someone would be right by to fix the water damage. 18 months later and I still had a huge brown spot in my ceiling, despite reminding her numerous times. I'm sure I was charged for that when I moved out too.
