I will not be living here again and wish I didn’t have to live here for another semester. The only good thing about this apartment is how close it is to the school. Most of the employees are nice and do as much as they can. Our buttons on our washer were broken and falling out of its place. It took over a month and a half to get someone to look at it and all they did was replace the buttons but the buttons were not fixed and still do not work. I live on the pool side and the music is SO LOUD until 7 o’clock on week days. The pool fills up with TONS of people who don’t live here, trash it, then the helix closes it because it was trashed. When it wasn’t the residents, and it was random people. Also, they close the pool to clean it, and I would ask when it would be open and they would say tomorrow but then it’s closed for a whole week. I can never study in my room because of the pool music. The walls are paper thin, I can hear anyone in the hallway, elevator, or stairs. Can hear any person that walks above me, can hear them closing cabinets, and moving chairs. I think it is ridiculous that on game day weekends if our parents or friends want to stay with us they have to pay 35$ to park at the apartment. We had our apartment broken into. The water isn’t always hot in the shower. And they say it is a gated community but anyone can walk in from the street, because the gates are always open on the main road. The back gate is constantly broken, and I have to constantly go get my clicker fixed. I was also told everything is 24/7, but it is not. The only thing 24/7 is the gym. Yes, the apartment amenities are nice, But I would not sign here until the summer time because they always say there sold out, but there not. They told me they were almost sold out to hurry and sign, but this summer they were giving away a free tv, free utilities, and $600 dollars begging for people to live here. They also told me if I signed up for the 20$ premier parking I could remove that at any time, which is a lie. I would not recommend paying for the premier parking. The only reason I signed up for it is because the helix told me on game day weekends they sell parking pass for game day passes and it would get packed. But they didn’t meantion the parking passes for game day passes is only for visitor parking. Everyone has a different experience, and not everyone is gonna be told the same thing by the workers. But this was my experience, and it’s only been a semester.
I have not had a good experience with helix. Recommended two friends and was supposed to get a gift cards for each and ended up only getting one. When I emailed about it to the whole office staff including the manager, no one took the time to answer my questions. After about 2 months I still have not heard from anyone. Not satisfied with the service. Probably won’t be coming back to live here again.
A great spot to live! The staff is very friendly and loves to assist in any way they are able. The apartments are nice on the inside and out. There is always complimentary food and fun events. Great atmosphere overall!
Helix is a nice apartment, but when they have specials for renew your lease they use electronic gift cards. You can renew your lease early October and probably wouldn't get it months later. Nobody wants to wait months for a gift card, it seem like they would use a different method instead on electronic if its going to take this long. When you talk to management they seem to never have the answer and would say we will call you when we get the answer which they never do.
I love everything about Helix. The staff is very helpful, understanding, and great at what they do. Especially Jerri who, is so very helpful and hands on into fixing whatever the problem may be. The landscaping and the pool of the apartment complex is always up to part. I would recommend anyone to stay here, such a great experience for myself.
